I’d like to start by sharing a quote by Dr Wayne Dyer “ If you change the way you look at things, the things you look at change.” Meaning, if you are looking at the situations in your life with a mindset focused on the problems, and negative perceptions, that is what you will see, that is what you will look at, but if you begin looking at the things in your life from a more positive initial mindset, you will begin to see those things more easily and more often. Today’s show focuses on the power of mindset and the amazing things shifting your mindset around time apart can produce. I am grateful to have Dr. Megan Cannon on the show today to help me talk with you about this topic.
Dr. Megan is a Sport Psychologist who owns and operates a sport psychology company in Allentown, Pennsylvania. Dr. Megan currently works with athletes at varying levels in their career. She has worked with individual athletes and teams at schools such as Bucknell University, Duquesne University, Johns Hopkins University, Lafayette College, Lehigh University, New Jersey Institute of Technology, Old Dominion University, University of Massachusetts, University of Pittsburgh, and more.
